Every product at Zion Bags begins and ends at one place, the missionary. Their suggestions and ideas provide the inspiration and challenges that drives our process. Keith (CEO |Co-founder) brings over 30 years of Industrial Design expertise in the design of technical-soft goods and equipment. He has designed, developed and created award winning products for some of the most iconic and respected sport, performance and outdoor brands in the world.
The first element of designing a great product is to understand the consumer. We are constantly getting feedback from returned and currently serving missionaries. We meet with retailers regularly that outfit missionaries and ask them what they feel is critical at the retail space for the missionaries.
Our early concepts are then evaluated against established platforms to make sure that they are on track. We then reach back again to missionaries to review with them the initial concepts. Getting this feedback is extremely critical in order to validate the designs and the direction we are heading. Refinements are again implemented into new concepts and eventually a sample is built.
In addition to subjecting our products to a battery of tests, we send each sample prototype to be field tested by missionaries to learn how they perform and stand up to the demands of missionary life. After receiving more feedback, we refine each product further until it meets or exceeds each consumer need. Once approved we then begin production.
At Zion Bags we are deeply committed to developing the very best bags for missionaries. We constantly evaluate a wide variety of industries to make sure that we are up on the latest technologies and materials. We are aware of the latest trends, because we know that what appeals to each missionary will be different. At Zion Bags our goal is to provide solutions that serve all missionaries. This is the driving force behind everything we do.
