Designing a great missionary bag at Zion Bags begins and ends at one place, the missionary. Their suggestions and ideas provide the inspiration that drives our process. With over 30 years of Industrial Design background, we have decades of experience in the design of technical-soft goods and equipment. This is what we bring to Zion Bags.
We know that the first element of designing a great missionary bag is to understand the consumer. We spend countless hours talking with currently serving and returned missionaries to get their input. We meet with retailers that outfit missionaries and ask them what they feel is critical at the retail space and what the dynamic of the shopping experience is for a future missionary. Once these needs are identified our design team begins the design process.
Once concepts are identified we reach back out again to missionaries to review with them the initial ideas. Getting this feedback is extremely critical in order to validate the designs and the direction we are heading. Refinements are again implemented into new concepts and eventually a sample is built.
We send each prototype to be field tested by missionaries to learn how they perform and stand up to the demands of missionary life. After receiving more feedback, we refine each product further until it meets or exceeds each need and receives a final blessing from our management team.
At Zion Bags we are deeply committed to developing the very best missionary bags. We constantly evaluate a wide variety of industries to make sure that we are up on the latest technologies and materials. We are aware of the latest trends, because we know that what appeals to each missionary will be different. At Zion Bags our goal is to provide solutions that serve all missionaries. This is the driving force behind everything we do.
Building up Zion, one bag at a time.
